Macros

Our son D is home for a while (gotta love the economy and job layoffs...), so I took a morning and went nursery crawling. I usually don't leave R for longer than an hour, so having D home will help me with my errands, shopping and general mental health.

Anyway, you'll be seeing some stuff from the nursery as the week goes on...

  1. Oh my gosh, Pat, that second one is amazing. The DOF is so minuscule, and the petals look so soft and silky because of it. I am sorry that your son got laid off, but I am happy for you and R that he is home for a while.

  6. Simply beautiful shots. Love the brilliant yellow tucked into the white and natures patterns. Sorry your son is temporarily unemployed - but certainly a bit of a bonus to you with some mental health breaks.

  8. These are so, so beautiful in their simplicity. Love them! I am so glad you got a "break" and got out of the house for some "me time". You are a saint for doing all that you do, and you definitely deserve a break now and again! :) Can't wait to see more!

  12. I love the drop on the first one! Yeah, I hear you about the economy! I'm hoping my son can use his degree some day. . . for more than a minimum wage job:( Good luck to your son, and I'm glad you're getting a break a bit now.
