And, the nursery where I was shooting these? An employee came over while I was photo-ing, and said...."Here, you really need to get this one. Look at the color!" and took the above callas from the display in the center of the big table and put it where I could play with it. Now THAT, Peas, is a photographer-friendly store!!

ReplyDeleteLovely Pat, and the color on those first two is gorgeous, she is right! Molbaks? I almost drove up there today after finding it really too windy to shoot at the arboretum today but I didn't have time. Maybe next week sometime....
ReplyDeleteAlso, one of my favorite shots ever from a macro friend of mine is one of the holey calla leaves, backlit so the light coming through the holes is blown. Try it sometime, I'd bet you'd do a wonderful job with it!

ReplyDeleteGorgeous! WOW....Cali's are my favorite flowers...they are so curvy and feminine. I don't think I have ever seen them so red as in your photos though. They truly look magical here Pat.
