Wow Pat - since I have been checking out your blog - I have started looking at things differently - I went to the Botanical Garden yesterday... and took some shots of leaves too!! ;) Nothing compared to yours... but it's a start!! :)
It looks like the leaves must be very thick, and how interesting to remove the color to better see the texture of "rivers" through it! I'm amazed that R knew the BN bridge! I LIKE that he's been through here! Did he used to ride through the downtown area, along DeMers, past the US Bank building? I work in that building, and see and here the train all day long (except now, :( . . . .they're rerouted around the city and I miss their sounds.)

Very cool leaves. They look almost like I would imagine elephant skin looks.
ReplyDeleteGreat texture. TFS!
ReplyDeleteThese are just beautiful...wow. The b/w conversion really works and shows so much detail.
ReplyDeleteAmazing! I'd love to this design embossed in leather.
ReplyDeleteThat is so cool! They also look like dry cracks in the dirt. I love the B&W conversion.
ReplyDeleteGreat textures!
ReplyDeleteVery cool, love the b/w! They don't even look like leaves. :)
ReplyDeleteI would not have guessed leaves. It looks like some kind of rich fabric!
ReplyDeletePat, it is so cool to see the world through your eyes!
ReplyDeleteThey almost look leathery (if there is such a word). Pat, you have such the eye for detail - great shots!
