Spring Showers

Lauren (michym) might have had glorious spring yesterday, but 35 miles from her, up against the mountains, we had rain. Light rain, heavy rain, sprinkles, mist, downpours...you name it, it fell. Just about suppertime it dried up enough for me to go out and do some drops--the upside to all that rain!!
I love the way the new leaf is encased in the water droplet! Plus, a little reflected color on the bottom of the drop...

    Oh, I love the puddles shot - others as well, but especially the puddles. All we've had is rain, rain, rain - hopefully yours' won't last for weeks.

    I love them all, but that first one is so pretty! They all look like they are straight out of a magazine. I am envious of your macro skills!

    OMG- that last one made me gasp out loud! Those blades of grass in the reflection are so perfect! I hope your rain goes away soon... but being in the lovely PNW I suppose your chances aren't good, LOL.. :)

    You have such a great eye for these shots, Pat. I don't even know how long I started at the first one--mye eye just kept going up and down...I couldn't look away!
    And the reflection of the new leaf in the drop?!? Divine!
