That is way too cool! Mother Nature's stained glass! I remember when I was younger my sisters and I used to peel the bark off my mom's birch tree and use it as paper to write "secret" messages on, LOL.

Beautiful! I am not sure we have birch trees down here. But the maples have similar bark.
