Snow bird vacancy

The other day I was whining because our unseasonable snow was melting. The weather gods must've heard, because we got a new dump of about 6", and there is supposed to be another storm blowing through here tonight. This is SO unusual for the Pacific Northwest; usually this time of year all we see is rain, and more rain, followed by more rain. I am enjoying the snow to the hilt; comes from growing up in Michigan where we got immense amounts every winter.

This poor bird house is almost too covered to entice anyone inside.
(Don't know why this looks darker on Blogger. It isn't this dark on my computer...any ideas or suggestions as to the reason?)

  9. So pretty with the red and white snow! I'm having problems with photobucket or maybe it's blogger making my photos look less saturated and darker.

  10. Love the picture Pat! I heard the pass is going to get 3 FEET in the next 24 hours, I'll bet you get quite a bit as well. We've got a couple of inches at my house tonight but it's supposed to turn to rain y the morning.

Oh, and in answer to your question, Molbaks :) I hope you're able to make it to Bothell on Saturday afternoon! If the weather cooperates I think I'm going to try and swing by Country Village to shoot the chickens beforehand.
