Out at the nursery this weekend and the waterlilies are still blooming--I love the late season blooms, but hate the bugs that congregate on the blossoms and the leaves. I could drive myself nuts with the clone tool, and so just decided to skip it.

Pat, these are beautiful. The three in the diagonal lone with those grasses is lovely, and the yellow peeking out of the one is just so classic. I adore water lilies so much and these pink ones are amazing. I totally understand about the bugs :( I have a shot from the arboretum a couple of years ago and I literally spent an hour cloning all the bugs off of it.
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful! I just realized that I haven't seen water lilies in such a long time. :)
ReplyDeletePat these are STUNNING. I cannot believe the amazing color and the detail in each shot. There is something about water lilies that just seem to fairytalish.
ReplyDeleteThat is one perfect lilly! Wow!!
ReplyDeleteVery cool, all of the sudden I am realizing that I need to get out and shoot some of this stuff before it is gone! TFS
ReplyDeleteVery pretty - I tried to photograph some lilies while at Disney, but they did not turn out so well. Nice lines and clarity.
ReplyDeletePat These are gorgeous shots!
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful! I was in such good company tonight, with you and I on the same wavelength:) Pat, I hadn't ever really seen water lilies before, other than the little tiny ones. I had no idea how beautiful these could be, and almost alien-looking! I guess I lucked out; the conservatory must be spraying something potent on them because I didn't notice any bugs on the ones I got to see.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Though it looks like your lens is dirty. (sorry, couldn't resist)
